The FDA and Gerber say a defect in packaging may cause the food to spoil during transport. Two kinds of Gerber “Organic 2nd Foods” pouches are under the recall. One is pears, carrots and peas. The other is carrots, apple and mangoes.

The pouches may be bloated and the food inside may have an off-taste or smell. They have best-by dates in mid-July.
